Privacy Policy

This document is a working draft template. Before it is published as a definitive version, it must be reviewed by a legal professional and adapted to the data protection regulations applicable in the jurisdiction or jurisdictions where Argus RK operates (for example GDPR, LOPDGDD or equivalent local laws).

1. Data controller

Argus RK Solutions, S.A.S. (“Argus RK” or “we”) is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. For any question relating to this policy, you can write to us at contacto@argusrk.com.mx.

2. Data we collect

We collect only the data you provide to us directly and voluntarily when contacting us, either by email or through the audit request form:

  • Your name and, if you tell us, your company or job title.
  • Your email address.
  • Any information you include in your message or in the form (for example, the target type, the scope you want us to assess, the approximate number of assets or your timeline).

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and does not store your data in a database of our own: the form delivers it straight to our internal working channel.

To tell people apart from automated submissions, the form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3. That tool collects technical data about your browser and your interaction with the page on its own account (your IP address among others), and may set its own Google cookies for that purpose. We neither receive nor retain that information — only the result of the check. See sections 6 and 10.

3. Purpose of processing

We use the data you send us exclusively to:

  • Respond to your enquiry.
  • Prepare a technical or commercial proposal if you request one.
  • Follow up on a commercial relationship already started with you.

We do not use your contact details for unsolicited marketing, nor do we transfer them to third parties for commercial purposes.

The processing of your data is based on your consent, given when you voluntarily send us a contact message, and on our legitimate interest in responding to commercial enquiries.

5. Data retention

We retain contact data for as long as an active conversation or commercial relationship exists, and for the additional period necessary to meet legal or contractual obligations arising from a project. You may request the deletion of your data at any time, see section 8.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes. Only the providers strictly necessary to operate are involved, under confidentiality obligations equivalent to our own:

  • Discord Inc. The content of your audit request is delivered to a private team channel hosted on Discord, which acts as our internal working tool. Only our staff can access it.
  • Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC. Receives the technical data of the anti-bot check described in section 2. We do not send it the content of your message.
  • Our email provider, when the conversation continues over email.

7. Cookies and tracking technologies

This site does not install analytics or advertising cookies, and does not profile you for commercial purposes.

The only exception are the cookies Google may set on its own account as part of reCAPTCHA v3 on the contact form page. Their purpose is strictly security: telling people apart from bots to stop abuse of the form. We do not use them to measure traffic, for advertising, or to follow you across other sites.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request the rectification of inaccurate data.
  • Request the erasure of your data.
  • Object to processing or request its restriction.
  • Request the portability of your data.

9. Information security

As a cybersecurity firm, we apply reasonable internal practices to protect the confidentiality of the information you share with us, including access control and encryption in transit for email communications.

10. International transfers

Both providers in section 6 are US companies, so submitting the form involves a transfer of data to the United States: the content of your request to Discord, and the technical data of the anti-bot check to Google. Both rely on the Data Privacy Framework international transfer mechanisms and on standard contractual clauses.

If you would rather avoid that transfer, write to us directly at contacto@argusrk.com.mx instead of using the form.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the document.
